Spa Shiki To Hold Cut-A-Thon Fundraiser for Hope House
LAKE OZARK, MO – Beginning on Wednesday, October 28, Spa Shiki at The Lodge of Four Seasons will hold a cut-a-thon to raise money for the Hope House emergency aid center and food pantry. The spa will offer a cut and style for only $23 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the Hope House. The Spa Shiki-Hope House cut-a-thon will run through Thursday, November 19.
The fall fundraiser is the second cut-a-thon the spa has held for the Hope House this year. In May, Spa Shiki presented a check for $780 to the Hope House.
“For families in our community that are already struggling, the holiday season can make their situations even tougher,” said Spa Shiki Director Ann Brown. “We want to help the Hope House be able to provide for local families during the coming winter months.”
The Hope House is a non-profit organization, a food pantry and thrift shop that serve residents in Miller and Camden Counties. Located in Lake Ozark, the Hope House helps approximately 150 needing families every month with food, clothing and emergency aid. Fifty-one percent of these families are helped only one time.
