Yoga Keeps You Young
The older you get, the more you can feel your body protest before you even get up to exercise – especially if you are just starting a routine. You don’t have to have the goal of running five miles a day to get back in touch with your physical self.
Yoga focuses on the breath, stretching the body and expanding its limits through careful, measured practice. It can make you more flexible, build muscle mass, improve your posture – even help you sleep better.
But one of the greatest things about yoga is that you can start practicing it at virtually any age. Retirement is a great time to get started.
